| John Palmer A full time company director, John is also Chairman of Air New Zealand Ltd and a director of AMP Life Ltd, Rabobank Australia Ltd, and Saxton Fruit Ltd. In 1998, John received the Bledisloe Cup for his outstanding contribution to the New Zealand fruit industry and in 1999 received an ONZM for service to the New Zealand kiwifruit industry. He became Chairman of Solid Energy in January 2007. |

| Helen Cull Helen has extensive experience in a range of litigation and public law, has provided advice in a number of areas of legal practice and has served as a company director and board member of several statutory bodies. Appointed Queen’s Counsel in 1997, she is currently a Senior Advisory District Inspector of Mental Health, member of the New Zealand Law Society Ethics Committee and an independent board member of the New Zealand Greyhound Racing Association. |

An Auckland-based company director, Mr McDonald had more than 30 years’ experience in executive management positions with Tasman Pulp and Paper Co Ltd and Fletcher Challenge through until his retirement in 2001. He was also a director of several Fletcher Challenge subsidiary and joint venture companies in New Zealand and overseas. |
