Simon Doig National Marketing Manager

Simon joined Solid Energy in 2001 and worked in various marketing roles within the company, including International Marketing Manager.

Simon is responsible for marketing coal from our South Island mines and importing coal directly to domestic and international customers. Simon also works with the General Manager Energy Developments to market coal for any future new ventures.

North Operation's Commercial Manager

Michael McKeown North Operation's Commercial Manager

Michael joined Solid Energy in 1999 after working in accounting roles at energy company's Natural Gas Corporation and Australian Gaslight.

Michael is responsible for our North Operation's marketing, processing and retail functions.

South Island Marketing Manager

Amanda Loeffen South Island Marketing Manager

Amanda joined Solid Energy in 2006. She previously worked for BP in Europe, in the business management of oil and chemicals.

Amanda is responsible for all South Island sales.

Market Development Manager

Peter Friar Market Development Manager

Peter joined Solid Energy as in 2004 after working in various Customer Service, Sales and Marketing roles in the energy industry.

Peter is responsible for developing and managing our North Island customer accounts.
